Neo Projects provided Project Manager, Cost Manager and Employer’s Agent Services. The scheme was procured via a negotiated tender utilising a JCT Design and Build Form of Contract.

Partners on the project include Pozzoni Architecture Limited acting as the Architect, Winworth Construction acting as Principal Contractor, Betton Consulting Limited acting as M&E Engineer, Sutcliffe acting as Structural Engineer and LBI Design acting as Interior Designer.

The project included the demolition of the former dated home to provide a luxury care home equipped with state of the art technologies and bespoke fixtures and fittings.  

The site was narrow in nature which presented several logistical issues during construction. Material storage and deliveries had to be carefully coordinated due to space restrictions.

The site required the construction of a 4m high retaining wall to maximise the usable area. Neo worked with the client and design team to review several options for the construction of this and presented an detailed options appraisal. The chosen solution allowed for programme and cost savings to be achieved.

The home offers much needed high quality care accommodation to the growing town of Alsager.
