Care Concern Group Ltd required the refurbishment of the Care Home, including upgrading fire protection and redecoration throughout.
The home sits across two properties providing a 28 bed respite unit with a strong community feel, large lounge, pool table and bistro style social spaces, and a 92 bed Care Home over three floors providing complex care for a range of needs.
Neo Projects undertook the role of Contract Administrator on behalf of Care Concern Group Ltd for this development under a JCT Minor Works Building Contract with contractors design 2016
The works extended across two adjacent sites which had traditionally provided respite care and traditional residential care support over three floors. Works included comprehensive fire protection works to meet current guidance, improvements to existing electrical services and full decoration and carpet replacement across both properties. Some external works were also required to decorations, existing elevations and surrounding grounds.
Partners on the project included RJD Associates acting as CDM / H&S, Betton Consulting providing M&E Consultancy support, and Architectural design by Quadrant. The scheme was completed and handed over to Care Concern Group in December 2023.
