Lancing Development Co Limited, (The Employer) required the design, construction, completion and defects rectification of a 66-bed care home and all associated external works and services at 85-89 Brighton Road, Lancing.
The site neighbours’ residential dwellings and an amazing sea view.
Neo Projects undertook the role of Contract Administrator on behalf of Lancing Development Co Limited for this development under a JCT Standard Building Contract 2016 without Quantities form of contract with Special Conditions and amendments.
The scheme comprises of 66 bedrooms with en-suite wet rooms. The home features many large open plan lounges, private dining and communal dining spaces along with a number of activity/function spaces for residents to take advantage of such as the Anavo club room, hair and nail salon, café and private gardens.
The scheme achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ accreditation with the BRE.
Partners on the project include RJD Associates acting as Principal Designer, Carless + Adams as Architect, Couch Perry Wilkes acting as M&E Consultant, McCann & Partners as BREEAM Consultant, Ridgeway Designs as the Structural and Civil Engineer and Catalyst Interiors as Interior Designer. The scheme was completed and handed over to Lancing Development Co Limited in December 2025.
